Income Savings Tax
Because of income tax deductions, the government is basically subsidizing your purchase of a home. All of the interest and property taxes you pay in a given year can be deducted from your gross income to reduce your taxable income.
For example, assume your initial loan balance is $150,000 with an interest rate of eight percent. During the first year you would pay $9969.27 in interest. If your first payment is January 1st, your taxable income would be almost $10,000 less – due to the IRS interest rate deduction.
Property taxes are deductible, too. Whatever property taxes you pay in a given year may also be deducted from your gross income, lowering your tax obligation. |

We had a bit of snow this year to remind us that we haven’t been totally forgotten by the weatherman. Paul first discovered this secret spot in the summer of 1958 as a high-school student. After traveling extensively all over the world, he returned to his adoptive home in 1975. He has been watching and helping develop this special section of the Oregon Coast ever since. Paul and his wife, Bev have raised two children and sent them into the world to find their calling. Now with a wealth of experience and love of this area, Paul is ready to share this place with others that are looking for a special piece of heaven on earth.
