She learned to swim in the Millicoma River; to water-ski on Loon Lake and even spent a few Christmases enjoying the beach at Sunset Bay—yes, Christmas. Fresh-dug clams cooked in butter on a clean shovel over an open fire, hotdogs and sand, S’mores and sand---just part of the picnic menu.
